So, who are you?

👋 Hi there! I’m a seasoned teacher and performer with a strong background in user experience (UX). I help product-led companies maintain strong relationships with customers through effective and engaging product education and training.

Sweet. Got a resume?

You bet I do! Download below:

So, with your background in UX, why focus on a training-specific role?

Over the years, I’ve discovered that I’m most passionate about helping people learn, grow, and feel joy through live, face-to-face engagements. Going forward, I’m aiming use my design and research skills to create and carry out trainings for a product-focused technology company.

Intriguing. May I see some examples?

You bet! Here are some samples of my training, presenting, and performing skills in a variety situations:

1. Watch me walk someone through a product and it’s features

In this walkthrough video, I introduce Torbu (a product I previously helped manage) to members of the U.S. Army, who were considering using our product at the time.

2. Watch me simplify a technical concept so it’s easy to understand

I personally shot, edited, and produced this video as an audition piece for a company called Treehouse. The video showcases not just my skills in presenting, but also instructional design, visual design, and video production/editing.

3. Watch me connect with a target audience of young people

[This is the first in a series of three instructional videos meant to help young people learn the art of beatboxing. In this lesson, I teach why practice is important (mindset). In the second video, I explain what to practice (technique). And in the last video, I demonstrate how to practice (mastery).](https://youtu.be/I3NUCI3X-Bs)

4. Watch me provide engaging classroom instruction

Watch the highlights from an hour long seminar I gave to fellow masters students in the BYU Instructional Design program on how to use an academic library more effectively.
